The David Sheldrick Elephant sanctuary in Nairobi Kenya is one of the most fantastic organisations I have come across, The work they do for the elephants is amazing. We always visit when we go to Kenya.

2010 Giraffe Sanctuary, Nairobi - Kenya

Here you can give a giraffe a kiss!!! You can also feed them from your hand with specially provided food pellets.

These beautiful, gentle animals are so amazing to get close to. Here you are able to feed them from your hand with the specially prepared food.

Indian Ocean, off Mombasa - Kenya

Beautiful blue sea, dolphins, clams, turtles, sea eagles and the best treat of all - hump back whales. What an awesome sight!!

The lake has suffered from the drought and is smaller than it was but it still has a big population of birds and animals.

Lake Nakuru isn't all about flamingoes - there are rhino (black and white), lions, giraffe, hyena, and many other birds and animals to wonder at.

From miles away the lake looks pink - it is millions of flamingoes. When you get down on the beach you can see close up how delicate they are. There are rhino and water buffalo and lions amongst others to see in this beautiful setting.

Treetops and Outspan 2010 - Kenya

Treetops is an amazing place to visit especially if you stay up for most of the night and watch (from the rooftop terrace) the animals as they come to the waterhole.

Treetops - Kenya

Treetops has to be one of the most incredible places to spend a night. Don't ever expect much sleep but with so many wild animals to see who cares!!! Some of the most friendly hospitality on offer in Kenya is here as well.
